Sophie Gill
Lead Behaviour Therapist
Sophie Gill has been a behaviour practitioner for several years and brings extensive experience to our therapy team.
Sophie takes a holistic approach and works with the staff team as well as working with the young people themselves. She works in a pro-active manner, looking at the ‘how’, ‘when’ and ‘why’ of situations to reduce the need for a particular behaviour forming in the first place.
Starting with functional assessments to learn why a certain behaviour is shown, she can support and teach staff what different skills they might try and advise if there is any of their own behaviour, they might be able to change to help meet the needs of the young person and reduce the behaviour.
