Children and young people
PJL Healthcare Ltd is the parent company of a range of different services supporting children and young adults with learning disabilites, emotional, behavioural difficulties and associated challenging behaviours and mental health. Care and support is give from our facilities in East Sussex: Mayfield Children’s Home, Mayfield Adult Services, and Framfield Children’s Home
Mayfield Children’s Home provides full time and respite care for children and young people with learning disabilities, to include Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Prada-Willi Syndrome, Attachment Disorders, Post-traumatic Stress Disorders, Bi-polar Disorder and Pathological Demand Avoidance Disorder and the associated challenging behaviours and mental health.
We offer supportive and individualised care packages for children and young people with complex behaviours which restrict their opportunities and negatively impact their development, such as issues with physical and verbal aggression and self-harm. Read more
Framfield Children’s home is a residential home which offers full time, therapeutic placements to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and associated challenging behaviour from a 5 bedroomed home set in 6 acres of beautiful East Sussex countryside. PJL Healthcare Ltd have a dedicated in-house training team dedicated to meeting the needs of individual members of staff, The training function offers a wide range of nationally recognised qualifications and short courses, delivered by professional trainers, as well as offering bespoke short courses and independent learning according to specific needs. All support staff attend training that not only covers the mandatory requirements of the Quality Standards but also specialisms that are required to meet the needs of individual young people we look after. Those who have not already achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Care qualification, will automatically be registered to start their Diploma with us, once they have successfully completed their probation period.
