Building emotional resilience

Emotional support is critical to ensure that the young people who live with us can fully achieve their potential. Thanks to our highly trained team, therapeutic inputs are a positive part of everyday life.

We work closely with therapists to ensure that any new needs are identified, shared with other agencies and acted upon. We are constantly reviewing what is or isn’t working and adapting accordingly.

Framfield works in partnership with Beacon House, Lewes – a specialist, innovative, and creative therapeutic service for young people, with a special interest in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and loss. Beacon House offer safe and effective therapies in a way that enables young people to re-build their lives following stress and adversity.

Tailoring to individual needs

Each person who lives with us has a different set of requirements. Therefore, we offer a suite of therapeutic options, so we can find the right blend to support each individual.

This is a sample of the therapies we offer:

  • Pet therapy, through Pet Pals
  • Equine therapy
  • Relationship therapy
  • Music therapy
  • Mental health services, including CAMHS for young people
  • Reflexology
Pet therapy days are some of the happiest days at Framfield. Interacting with animals can reduce stress levels in just five minutes.
