Night Time Residential Childcare Practitioner – Mayfield

We are an Independent Residential Children’s home looking after children and young people with learning difficulties. We thrive to give the children a life filled with fun, happiness and love.

Benefits:

  • An excellent hourly rate from £11.06 – £12.19 weekdays and £13.10 to £14.41 at weekends depending on qualifications and experience.
  • A daily fuel allowance of £3 per day towards the cost of travelling to and from work.

  • A 42-hour week worked over 4 Nights – 21.00 – 7.30am

Responsibilities Day-to-Day:

  • Ensuring the children are always kept safe.
  • Maintaining a homely environment in the house.
  • Working within a brilliant team of people.
  • Reading bedtime stories.
  • Setting goals for the child and smashing them!

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills.
  • A fun-loving attitude!
  • A caring and thoughtful nature.
  • Flexibility to work rota’d shifts, inc every other weekend.
  • Willingness to learn and gain qualifications.
  • Live within a 40-minute drive of Mayfield.
  • Have a driving licence.
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK.
