PJL Healthcare Ltd recognises the essential need for a caring and motivated team of support staff. Emphasis is placed on staff training and encouragement of individuals to develop their skills.

We have an excellent staff base within our services in a variety of different roles, with a breadth of different skills. As well as our excellent team of Care Support Workers, staff within Mayfield Children’s Home for example include a Registered Manager, a Deputy who supports the Manager in the running and managing of the Home, Team Leaders, a Training Manager, a Dietician, a Rota Co-ordinator, an Activity Co-ordinator, an Admin team and a Maintenance Manager.

We recognise the need for a range of skills and experience within our staff team, reflecting the diversity of backgrounds of our children and young people.

We are committed to ensuring the highest levels of care are maintained at all times and to ensure this happens we invest heavily in the training and development of our staff  through our own training department – PJL Training Centre

PJL Healthcare Ltd is recognised for it’s high standard of care and very friendly, caring, professional staff.  All training received by staff is focused around the requirements of individuals as well as the needs of each young person in our care.

All care staff undergo Team Teach training, which is refreshed annually.

All our care staff are qualified or working towards the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and staff are encouraged to learn and achieve other qualifications to further their career .
